Blackberry Bold 9000 Blackberry is a tool of business and has been on the market for over a year now. This phone brings Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G support, and comes as a very desirable upgrade for existing users Blackberry 8800.

The Blackberry Bold 9000 owes much of it s stylish built to the Blackberry curve and it comes with a glossy chrome highlight on the edges. This device comes with a full QWERTY keypad that has become the hallmark of Blackberry devices and appears to have tidier keys for better workability. At 133 grams this one is lighter than the Storm and is only available in black colour. The display of the phone is a 2.6 inches screen with 265K colours and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The phone-book allows the user to organise contacts in sub groups that helps in separating personal and business contacts. A Trackball navigator is located at the center of the device and comes really handy for navigating through the menus. This smart-phone comes loaded with a 1GB internal memory which can be further extended up to 8GB by using microSD cards. The Bold is also a Class10 GPRS and Class10 EDGE device and uses an HTML web browser to give access to the internet. Blackberry has incorporated it s own operating system in this phone which runs on a 624 MHz processor. The phone connects to any local area network through the built-in Wi-Fi which also allows the phone to be synchronised with a PC or a laptop. 3G service ensures that data can be downloaded at a fast pace with HSDPA at a rate of 3.6Mbps. Bluetooth and USB facilitate in cost-effective data transfer and sharing between compatible devices.

The Bold is also equipped with 2 mega pixel camera with LED flash to take pictures even in natural light conditions. Media Player can play most files including MP3, WMA and AAC + player supports DivX video, WMV, XviD, and 3gp format. Blackberry itself is also included Maps application that synchronises version and comes with a built-in GPS support A-GPS.

The capacity of the unit Blackberry Bold 9000 is a standard Li-Ion battery supports talk time of up to 5 hours and standby time of about 310 hours in 3G services. Some other interesting features and applications have also been added as a document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), Organizer, 3.5 mm audio jack and Voice dial / memo.
