Holographic Imaging and Holography very interesting area and pay to learn a little about the past. Dennis Gabor Holography regarded as the father and Holographic Technologies. Dennis was born in Hungary in 1900. He began his study of physics at the age of 15 and eventually became a physicist in the UK. Dennis wrote a paper in 1948 which has become the basis of modern Holography.

It is very interesting about all this is that the laser beam was not even discovered, when he wrote the paper. So the discovery of talent and creative genius stands as one of the great inventors of the 20th century. Dennis Gabor later became Professor at Imperial College in London University in Applied Electron Physics.

Dennis Gabor Holography working in the field until he died in 1979. Of course there are many other figures in Holographic Imaging such as;

  • A.B. Baez

  • S. Benton

  • Y. Denisyuk

  • M.E. Haine

  • P. Kirkpatrick

  • E. Leith

  • G.L. Rogers

  • H. El-Sum

  • J. Upatnieks

Many of these men's magazines can be found online doing a special customized Google Search. Many people do not understand the difference between Holography and Spectral Imagining and often become confused technology.

Holography has certain limitations that remain from now to do the things we associate with Holographic Images as a Star Wars Holographic Image communication devices. Technology is completely possible, but not actually doing Holography. Maybe watch videos online might clear some of this?
